The first day of school

Everyone is so disappointed that the first day of school did not happen. My apologies to the whole hoopla this morning. For what it is worth, the power did not come back on until after 11:30. The building, due to the gloomy weather, was quite dark. We look forward to seeing everyone on Friday September 1, 2006.

Thank you to everyone this morning and afternoon with the arrival and dismissal process. I think that it was extremely successful. The staff and I are leaving those few parking spots open by the Granby Street exit so that you may pull in there and buckle anyone who needs buckling. With the predicted rain for the rest of the week, expect dismissal to happen from the building as opposed to the playground.

Welcome parents and children. Summer is coming to an end and school is just beginning. Wednesday is a half day for everyone, all Children's House children, including Extended Day, and Lower Elementary new students. Thursday everyone returns, regular hours begin 8:30-12:00 (Children's House), 8:30-3:00 (Extended Day and Lower Elementary), and 8:30-4:30 (Flex Time).
